Lemonade and Anjou Pears

A light and cold Sunday, so I pulled out my acrylic paints and a board and tried scratching in some color and motion to capture this image.

Based on a watercolor sketch I did a number of years ago; used my scrumbling to block in the background and shadow colors. Then I laid in the more opaque colors for highlights. Trying not to over work the painting, but it has been a while. Was a good warm up for new paintings.
