Arabica, art and inspiration

I love coffee! I once quit drinking coffee and switched to green tea; the caffeine was longer lasting and it wasn’t as acidic. But I missed the smell and taste of coffee. So I switched back.

Living in the Northwest you get used to finding a local joint that either roasts its own or used one of the iconic coffee bean brands that you individually love. We don’t go to Starbucks (sorry Howard), unless there is no other option and we never go to McDonalds!

In Seattle my favorite coffee shops are Caffe Ladro, Uptown Espresso, Storyville or my local cafe the 909 (brewing Herkimer).

So with so much coffee around, it isn’t a surprise that the cup with the brew will show up in my sketching and paintings.
