Vision 2020 – Burien Arts Market Show

One year ago, after almost a decade of in action, i started painting again. My very first event last year was the Burien Arts Marketing Vision 2019. I am entering this local charity again; Vision 2020

Each artist is given 9 squares to produce artwork, which is then entered into a live auction to raise money for art programs in our local schools. Last year my theme was flowers and food. You can read the article here and see the artwork.

This year with Covid19 locking us all indoors and curtailing travel, i am painting scenes from the day trips my wife and i have been enjoying with social distancing. Travel is key inspiration for me and my artwork, without access to that this year i have been a little sad. So focusing on the beauty that i am surrounded by helps me see the beauty amidst the chaos.
